English for Health Care ฉพ.4

English for Health Care is used as the main course book for “EL 211 English for Health Science 1” which is one of the ESP courses offer ed by the Language Institute of Thammasat University. The course aims to de velop students’ English skills in the health-science field by improving their r eading and listening abilities acr oss a wide variety of texts and applying health-science knowledge to their spoken and written production of English for their future professions at the CEFR le vel of B1. By using this textbook, the students are expected not only to learn a variety of interesting academic topics in health sciences but also to develop their English competence through the four language skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Each unit begins with a set of learning outcomes to guide the students towards the focus of the unit. The units consist of five main sections as follows: - Section A: Reading - Section B: Language Focus - Section C: Speaking - Section D: Listening - Section E: Writing
